Portsmouth police are investigating after a juvenile was shot Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 2600 block of High Street near the intersection with Virginia Avenue following a report of a shooting at about 4:48 p.m. They found the victim with a gunshot wound and he was taken to a hospital.
Police have not yet released the minor’s age.
No further details have been made available as of Tuesday evening. The investigation is ongoing.
