Janetta Rogers Howell, age 94, went home to be with our Lord on July 26th, 2024. Janetta (Jan), was born in Greenville, North Carolina on July 20th, 1930. She was predeceased by her parents, James A. Hinson and Velma Brown Hinson. She was predeceased by two loving husbands, Thomas E. Rogers and Earl B. Howell. She was also predeceased by two granddaughters, Lisa Marie Justice and Jennifer Lynn Horton. She will be lovingly remembered by her entire family, daughters Susan (Mike), Joyce (David) and Sharon (Jack) along with her 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, 23322. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 1st, at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, 521 Cedar Rd.
