Two men were shot in Portsmouth early Wednesday morning.
Police were notified at 12:30 a.m. about walk-in patients at a local hospital.
One man, Johnny Burden, 37, had a fatal gunshot wound and died of his injuries.
The other man, Jerome Hunter, 34, had a gunshot wound police called non-life threatening.
