Norfolk Public Schools is hosting a community engagement meeting on Thursday to present updates on plans for the new Maury High School.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the school, 322 Shirley Ave.

Conversations about what to do about the crumbling school, which is more than 110 years old, have been ongoing for years. In December, the School Board approved a proposal that could build a new replacement school while preserving Maury’s original structure for a housing development.
