About the data

All information was acquired via the Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA. Those who made less than $10,000 in 2022 were omitted. The city of Hampton provided the data as a snapshot from Dec. 31, 2022 as a representation of the 2022 calendar year. Additional wages includes any achievement awards, sign-on bonuses, retention bonuses and citizen satisfaction bonuses an employee may have received.

Jimmy Gray started as a regular council member on July 1, 2016 and became Vice Mayor in July 2018.
