For now, Cheddar Bay biscuits in Hampton Roads may be few and far between.
Three Red Lobster locations in Virginia abruptly closed this week as the company shuttered nearly 50 restaurants across the country.
The three Virginia eateries are among dozens listed for restaurant equipment auctions, according to an announcement from TAGeX Brands.
The closing Virginia locations are:
- Colonial Heights: 119 Temple Lake Drive
- Newport News: 12580 Jefferson Ave.
- Williamsburg: 2100 Richmond Road
The winner of each auction will receive the entire contents of the restaurant they bid on, including furniture and equipment.
Virginia has at least 19 remaining Red Lobster locations, including two in Virginia Beach, one in Chesapeake and one in Hampton, according to the chain’s online restaurant locator. The company has around 650 locations, per CNN.
