The Williamsburg Police Department is welcoming members of the public to an open house this week.
The event, which is scheduled for 3-6 p.m. on Friday at 425 Armistead Ave., is free and open to anyone that would like to come by, grab a bite to eat and meet some of the department’s officers and investigators.
During the open house, visitors can take a tour of the station, get an up-close look at the equipment that the department uses every day and ask questions. The Child ID station will also be available for those who wish to have a child ID made.
