Portsmouth police have arrested and charged a suspect in connection to the death of a man in March.
Officers responded to the scene at about 2:15 a.m. on March 17 near the 2400 block of Chestnut Street, about a mile from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
At the scene, emergency services found 29-year-old Damarcus Dildy with fatal gunshot wounds.
Omario Keyshawn Evans, 23, has now been charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and malicious shooting.
